Records Retention Policy
All Pride in Practice records will be maintained and stored in accordance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and American Medical Association (AMA) requirements.
Pride in Practice will retain activity files/records of CME activity planning and presentation for at least the last 12 months.
Pride in Practice will record and, when authorized by the participating physician, verify participation for at least 6 years from the date of the CME activity. This requirement may be met by the use of electronic data storage.
Pride in Practice may retain copies of invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other financial documents for tracking purposes. These copies shall be destroyed no later than 12 months after they are closed out.
